24 minutes in and O’Shea (to me) just showed how you can come from a more well off background but still be a real 🥷🏾 with a real heart and love for things that aren’t “the norm” (sad to call the toxic shit normal). His pops definitely threw him a huge assist by having him play his younger self in his biopic but bro hasn’t hung on that at all.

@@kiosha6945 exactly!!! like i can acknowledge the percentage she’s asking for is slightly out of pocket but anyone who decides to be a stay at home partner should always have a safe way out in case anything happens, their ‘alternatives’ completely ignored why she came up with what she did in the first place.
@jrcolacola
@jrcolacola 5 ай бұрын
@lilsumnsumn374 nah, the fact that her mind even thought about divorce is crazy. Even her bestfriends said she was crazy. I bet dude wasn't thinking about divorce, he was thinking his kids being at home safe with mom instead of with strangers and taking care of his family. She didn't have to add that part in her message and I think she would have gotten a more positive feedback. She's either thinking of divorcing him or she thinks he's going to divorce her. Which got me thinking they might have some relationship problems. Because no one thinks of divorce if the relationship is fine and happy.
@lilsumnsumn374
@lilsumnsumn374 5 ай бұрын
@@jrcolacola oh please, don’t give me that bs cop out argument. people think about divorce even before they’re married and immediately after, thats why prenups are a thing. And he’s free to think whatever he wants, so are you, fact of the matter is though people always need a way out. you never know what might happen, big or small and he’s asking her to put herself at a future disadvantage if something is to happen.🤷‍♀️ Also if we’re making assumptions, then am i allowed to wonder why, if her husband is seemingly concerned w ‘taking care of his family’, it has to be HER that quits her job and not him, so they can be ‘safe at home with dad’?

you dont get the contridiction in that statement at all? She wont sign a prenup but wants half a company she isnt actively building? Not stay late, negotiating deals, doing the numbers, inventory, none of that Why doesnt she just save the money he gives her in a privat investment account? He can just bankrupt the company or sell it and she wont get a dime. You want half the company, give her a discount on half the shares. He worried about his family, she worried bout a check? 6yrs in?...thats scheming bruh. FOMO about to mess her whole situation up...blabning on Reddit. smh

1:57:21 historically women have been left with nothing in divorces with men that have larg assets. Also, raising 3 kids and trying to work remotely is going to cause extra stress on her. You have to have somewhere quiet to work, kids are not quiet. She is also being taken out of being in a community of her peers to be around children all day. Ya, they are hers, but the husband gets a break everyday at work. I think she just wanted to know all the work she has put in won't amount to nothing, if she were to end up on her own, because no one can tell the future.
@rahmiraamani5593
@rahmiraamani5593 5 ай бұрын
I agree with you. I also think they are speaking from a male perspective. It's harder to understand what a woman goes through to raise children and be with them 24/7. Being a "housewife" or stay at home mom is not just chillin at home with the kids. Her wanting to have something for herself and trying to make sure shes financially stable no matter what the outcome is understandable 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was hunting for a comment like this cause. They sound so ignannntt. Like For a AGES women have been such a disadvantage in marriages. Ontop of the stress of being pregnant and have kids. You cannot trust ANY MAN or any human , idealy u hope and wish, but u never know. Securing a safe deposit shouldnt be an issue. If he loves her enough thats compensation , and insurance for the what if. Even if he dies, God forbid, like come on now.

People don't realise that even if youre a good man, she canntakenyou for half your stuff. Aint no PETTY insurance, people are Vindictive. Aint no WIC or welfare for dudes, and the child courts favor the women...she better ask for an allowance and start an investment account. This is the idea situation and she pushing it, out of FOMO. Its not a good reason, its saying you didnt make him sign a prenup but you dont trust him...or you dont trust yourself. She said nothing about if something were to happen, or for insurance..no she said if they divorce. What!!? 6yrs in...yeah she plotting. Its the risk of getting married..but look at the situation HE doesnt want a divorce, SHE just doesnt want to accept the risks of a stay at home mom job EVERY woman is claiming to want. O’Shea Jackson Jr. it’s awesome you were able to make it out to the podcast. This episode was inspiring and hilarious. Also, it’s cool that he grew up watching anime and playing video games too❤

Y'all are talking about my favorite things! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! Kingdom Hearts! Anime! Other stuff 😂!!! Also the black boy joy here!!! Makes me so happy 🥰!!! W pod! 🤣🤣🤣 Not him giving Berlin a hard time about his Detroit playthrough In the "AITA" - if he dies she would need something too. Half is kind of crazy. But if he doesn't want her working at all, the suggested "WFH" idea doesn't work. So he has to give her something.
