I say: 1976 was the golden age of transistors. Books about transistors from that era are most informative. Your video quality is much improved

Thank you. I've been doing this for 2.5 years, and its helpful having Dave Jones, Mike Harrison, and others as models for video blogging qualities and techniques.

Nice little meter. I love old HP test equipment and my personal favorites are those with red led displays. This 3476a is just lovely.

Very nice old meter, Those old low res meters are good as a "smoke meter"... Testing unknown circuits.

Great video! I've got one with a similar display problem sitting in front of me and that walkthrough will be very helpful. Edit: Yup, mine just needed a good clean as well. Thanks!

The schematic shows a battery already - there's even a charger circuit. You just need a set of 4 nicads .. that's what that square box in the base is for.

Never seen this one before. Cute little thing. I hope you could do some better video resolution like 720p. That's why I don't do videos atm, 360p is not that great. However your audio is fine.

Uhm wat? It is 720p.

Yes, I do record in 720. My camera is capable of 1080, but I prefer the smaller file size and shorter rendering/upload times.

Yeah 720p is enough. :)

Eric Wasatonic I would appreciate those videos in 720p. There are a lot of details that can not be seen with 360p. A bit sad.

Amazing how they 'throw away' a full digit just for the decimal point. Not that the rest would be accurate enough for 5 digits, but still...
