Just a fun reminder that OCD is not the same as superstition. OCD is not going back to check something one time, that you can’t remember doing, because there is a legitimate risk of danger. OCD is not having a preference for something because it’s aesthetically pleasing, tastes good or feels good. OCD is not ONLY checking or touching things several times because of an irrational fear. OCD takes many forms, it can be a spectrum, that spectrum can shift for one person over days, weeks, months & years. OCD is a debilitating disorder that can sometimes be identified with by looking at online resources but it is also important to talk to a professional when one is available to you. The behaviours described in this video could be ocd, a lot of them would not be ocd behaviours even if you were diagnosed with ocd. You can have ocd & also have quirky behaviours that are entirely unrelated. Many of them would not get you a diagnosis unless there were many other symptoms along side these behaviours.
