Just curious about that black bear at the beginning is that a male or female it looked real bloated or pregnant
@GameTrailCameraVideos10 ай бұрын
Bears put on a good amount of weight before winter sets, I think this is just a very healthy male. Bears don’t birth cubs until late January- Feb so I don’t think it’s that.

So beautiful to see wildlife! Thanks for the video. Does your camera run 24/7? Just curious :)

Thank you Joanne! Yes all 10 trail cameras run 24/7 and all year long. Have been like this for over 10 years now although I only had a couple cameras initially

I hit a Turkey while I was driving on Route 402 in the Poconos a few years ago. The driver of the car behind me was laughing. I could see him cracking up in my rear view as feathers were floating everywhere. When I got home in Bethlehem, I saw Turkey feathers, blood and my hood has a 4 inch diameter dent and my hood moved 1 inch out of alignment. The next day my repair shop found feathers in the engine compartment and they were amazed at the damage from hitting a "butterball." BTW, I have no idea if Mr Turkey survived.

You see so many turkeys and deer on the side of the road these days. That was probably a bit scary too. It really doesn’t surprise me how much damage it was not necessarily because it was a “butterball” but because wild turkeys are like extremely lean, pure muscle, solid like a rock. Thanks for sharing! Glad you didn’t get hurt. Last year I “bumped” a Canadian goose as it was lifting off and a guy driving was dying laughing… your story made me think of that haha. It was fine bc it kept flying but I bumped it pretty hard off my windshield. (On accident obviously as it decided to take off from the side of the road and flew right at my car)
