those arent really guitars but yeah they are similar to guitars. those 'guitars' are called ruan （阮）。 there is da ruan (大阮)，meaning big ruan cos its big..and lower in notes. and there is zhong ruan (中阮)，which means middle (size) ruan which sounds higher than the big ruan， and finally xiao ruan (小阮），which sounds higher pitch than zhong ruan. there are also 'guitars' that sound like ukelele that are called liu qin （柳琴）。 some other 'guitars' may be Pipa (琵琶） too. and the flutes have some called bang di （梆笛） and qu di (曲笛). this is what i know but hope it helps:)

Shie Hwang there is 1 more members of ruan family, called gao yin ruan(高音阮) oh.... common members of flute family of flute still got xiao di (小笛), da di (大笛), xin di (新笛).
