Hey Guys the [D] on the routing page stands for [Direct Out] not Digital, as it will need to be turned on even if you want to send directly to the 4 analogue omni outs instead of ADAT.

Hi. I got that right but my headphones is plugged into my mixer and the effects I hear. But when I plug my headphones into the audio interface then I only get the clean signal without any reverb. Anyone with advice please?

My question is what about using the 01v96 as an interface with daws like cakewalk for example? I have a preowned one of these boards with my usb cable from the board to my computer but I'm not sure how to make it work. I can't even get the computer to recognize the board in any way.

Did you download the latest available driver? Do you have windows or mac? With mac you have to go back a few OS. I am running High Sierra and it works, the board is running smoothly with logic. By the way, did you find more tutorials online? I am going to start working with that board, but I might need good tutorials. Thanks Edit: Yamaha released a new driver for Mac a few days ago, it goes up to OS 13 Ventura. Also windows 10 and 11 get support now 🎉! That’s amazing!

You should get the 01V96i (the latest edition) which has a built in 16/16 USB audio interface. Alternately, you can hook up the earlier editions to an extra interface but you need one with many channels, ADAT and Word Clock support such as the Zoom UAC-8.

Why not use the USB connection to record to your PC hard drive? Then you can directly manipulate the audio in the DAW program as it records.
