This method does not work for a 2003 E320. To do it for these earlier models you turn on the key to the one position, go to the service screen, then hold down the dimming button (Do not press three times). You then come to the confirm screen.

I have a Mercedes e320 1998 with over 160k miles on it and the maintenance reset does not reset any more after oil change following the manual instruction as well as your presentation. As my suggestion is welcomed!

Try starting on the service screen, then hold button down. That will yake you to the confirm screen. This works for the earlier W211 vehicles.

Yes it won't. What you do is turn ignition to one position (as the video says) BUT then go to the service screen, then hold the dimming buttoon down (rather the press three times), and the confirm screen will appear. After that the procedure is the same.
