A little advice from someone a few years older. Remember the first vehicle you drove post ankle? The Husky. Since 2005 all our motors, apart from a Mini I bought Brand New in 1985 for the Mrs (and getting into that is a no no for me now) are Autos - including my Tractor. Lazy, Convenient, call it what you will but it makes being older so much easier.

Hi Ian, being ill and not able to do things, is a bit like me having a quite coffee on the patio. I always see weeds that need picking or other jobs to do, by the time I've picked one and seen more my coffee's cold. Do take care lumpy ground and heavy weights can result in falls or twisted ankles. But then you know about that and still you can't stop, well done limpy.

Good,to see your leg improving, it seems to be healing quickly. As a long time bad leg owner, I’d suggest you don’t give up the stick too fast. You could find the uneven gait from the bad leg could give you back ache, which the stick will help alleviate. Just a i have to have a stick with me most of the time.
