Ayya Khema is talking about an operation in november 1995, so this video must be filmed in 1996. The videographer of this clip is Ann Hershey. Ayya Khema died in november 1997

Thanks for uploading & sharing this video. Do you know when this was filmed? I understand Ayya Khema has since died, was that long after this video? I have just read her book 'Being Nobody, Going Nowhere' & found it very valuable.

i love the book that she write it was really nice and intresting she was a engel on earth was there for brocken spirits and for pips who needit help

'It's just letting go and dissappearing, and it's very nice.' Ayya Khema compares dying to going on a vacation (a permanent one I suppose). Why is longing for death considered wrong, if dying is so great?

Papier Speelt because desire for anything (including death) leads to suffering. the desire for death is a form of self mortification, and does not adhere to the ways of the middle path
