02 Impreza 2.5 TS 0-60 Mph Launch

Other Mods:
Cobb front and rear shifter bushings
Cobb delrin shift knob
Kartboy Short Throw Shifter
Full Engine Refresh at 120,000 miles (timing belt, head gaskets, spark plugs, cleaned and polished everything, new clutch and flywheel)
This 0-60 run was on 87 octane pump gas. I timed the 0-60 to be just under 7.5 seconds. I could have shaved it down to probably 6.5 with 93 octane, better shifting, and better tires. The car launches HARD with the Exedy Stage 1 clutch. This was my 3rd time ever launching the car.
CEL is from P0420 code which means high emmisions from the Tsudo exhaust. Meh oh well. This is the EJ251 SOHC engine BTW

I have a cold air intake, magna flow exhaust thats butchered at welded and leaking, and an offbrand short throw shifter. Car has 183k and still starts up no issue and is so much fun. Only issue is i have a power steering leak that i have yet to adress and currently have no power steering

Dope! I still have this car but it unfortunately is approaching the end of its life with me. Just having too many small issues due to rust and age. I am working on fixing the issues and I will be selling it. It was a fantastic car a few years ago when everything was running great.

Usually when you get those tsudo test pipes they give you o2 spacer for the CEl but all you have to do is buy a 90 degree spacer and the 420 code with stay off its like a $12 part

yea it came with the 90 degree spacer but it still throws codes about 50% of the time. The CEL will be gone for a month and then it will come back for a month. I think it might be because there is slight exhaust leaks from cheap gaskets.

UPDATE: The cel has been off for a very long time now. I think it was due to my coil pack starting to go bad and causing a misfire here and there.

I'd be very interested in what time you car did 0-60..... I just downloaded an app called Drag Racer and it shows all the times you get as accurate as it can although you gotta give it around .5 of a sec additional.... Anyway my best out of 5 tries was 7.9 sec 0-60
