I think John/s fan base unanimously agrees they want to see him get back to this style. I respect his journey into other blues and country. But this is the style that made his music the soundtrack for so many of our lives.

guess I'm not a part of his fanbase then.. my major complaint is that he doesn't play covered in rain often enough (and it's too short when he does) - back to you would be nice as well... but as for the fanbase - a lot of them would prefer him to get back to where the light is style music. Personally I think most of what he does is great, the only problem is he doesn't mix up the setlists enough in the concert. If you have a copy of the best show of the tour, you don't really need to listen to the other shows and that's a bit sad. Like Barclay's dec 2013 - man what a show.. best slow dancing i've ever heard by far (if you include all the build up to it as well)
