+William Felix 17x8, 18x8.5, or 18x9 are usually what guys go with. If you're getting 17" wheels use either 225/45/17 or 235/45/18 tires. For size 18 wheels probably 235/40/18, or 235/35/18. I run 17" and it still looks really good if you lower the car a bit and you'll still have room to go over bumps without rubbing your bumper on the tires.

+SpikenMike Ace hardware sells these rubber plugs in various sizes that fit in. But if you're permanently removing it I'd suggest either getting a new trunk lid or welding the holes shut because I had tried that idea and I had problems with water leaks in my trunk. I've heard guys use silicone sealants with varying degrees of success. I just got fed up with the temp fixes and welded it shut. I knew I wasn't gonna put the wing back on though.

Like me when I think about my "car" not just a car its my baby girl who I name Jane and I call her my baby. I get mad when people try to damage it or slam the door or eat and drink in my car. When I drive I look for the best possible road with little to no pot holes. There are time when I have to push the car then usual like when I am in a hurry or just want to fly through traffic. I regret hitting pot holes and doing those things so I say to my baby "I am sorry baby please forgive me?"
