Nice video. I live in Victoria and have the same model radio, but the brown One on your schematic. Mine doesn’t have quite as many issues as that one though. Just out of curiosity with all the work that it took to repair that one. How much do you charge for a restoration like that?

Thanks. I believe the correct shop term for that is 'Basket Case' As it took about 20+ hours to totally fix this one up. I did this for fun and for a neighbor of many years. If i ran a shot the first thing I would do after I opened it up and saw the decay in the wiring is call the client back and tell them to come and pick it up unless they want to pay well over 500$ to get it running. Normally a recap is about 50$ plus parts even then you would not be making much. Hence the reason one see very few service shops these days just no money in it. Don't forget to subscribe ;)
