I’m a fan of Jess and Evan’s and so KZbin suggested this episode to me. I was excited to tune in and hoped to learn more about them but felt like the hosts were having a personal therapy session on camera…it became a little uncomfortable…Just some feedback for future interviews.

Mansplain Mark, let your wife speak. Every time she spoke, it seemed like you tried to silence her. I thought it was a bit at first but you did it throughout the entire podcast. You spoke on her feelings and her thoughts and wouldn’t let her explain them for herself. Jess and Evan were vibing with your wife and you seemed either jealous of their attention on her vs you or you wanted to take control of the conversation rather than letting her talk. Even your “but but but MY point is .. and i’m not discounting what you were saying but…” doesn’t bandaid the fact that you did in fact discount her point by interrupting her and not letting her complete her thoughts.

you are 100 percent right! and we talked about this after. IT was a weird control thing I was doing with her. felt awful! i totally mansplained the whole episode! I got triggered somehow and really have to work on that. Thank you for the feedback
