I feel like people who know me know my downtime is all about decompression. I think about people all of the time and don’t text because I might not want to have a conversation at that time. Whew…..

I love your show Blue. This is right on time. My spirit is awakened. As I’m typing, Damage says “How can I be your parent they weren’t there”. Pow pow pow. Pure intention doesn’t negate delivery. Wow 😯. Emotional growth is painful just as painful as the occurrence that caused the damaged self in the first place. It’s so worth it. I want to have an intentional life.

I’m here for DJ Damages view on being thoughtful if I have ask you were not meant to be around each other I’m a naturally thoughtful person to my own detriment so I show up for those I love be it checking in on you celebrating your wins and successes but if I’m pouring into you and never receive it back I ll never address it but I’ve definitely taken notice of it. During the pandemic I definitely noticed those who checked in on me and those who don’t cuz I live in nyc and during the pandemic we were ground zero then the riots happened and then we had curfews and there were people who I considered best friends and even siblings and family who never sent a text or email. Now i know to keep them where their at.

I totally get the "check in". I don't actively do this either. Still working on it, actually. I was also a latch key kid and was never "checked on", in that no one ever asked how I was doing, how I felt etc. Now, raising my nephew, I always ask how his say was or how he's feeling. I also make sure to tell him, to have a good day and I love you.

I love the conversation about thoughtfulness because I’m young and just started to date and was wondering if I was wrong for noticing the lack of thoughtfulness in someone I’m talking to. But nah this affirmed my feelings and made me realize I’m not wanting too much … just some thoughtfulness.
