Right off the bat, "no actor more macho than Steve McQueen"..?? Ih, one guy comes to mind, CHARLES GN BRONSON!! AND HE WAS HIGHEST PAID AT ONE TIME TOO IN 70s!! McQueen will always be King of COOL, But Bronson was old school ass kicker!! In movies and real life. He grew up as a coal miner as a child, Fought in bombers in ww2, etc etc. McQueen was rebel bad boy rugged guy, that did it his own way! There you go!
