Glad you enjoyed the video and the 3D model! Good feedback. Just a few notes, the Holy of Holies in my model is a perfect cube. It does not appear that way because of the angles of the camera shot and the darkened area above the room which is actually an empty space above, but trust me, I made sure to get that right. On the pomegranates inside, unless I am not reading 1 Kings the way you are, the only pomegranates I see are on the bronze pillars, not the interior decoration (which we do include). 1 Kings 6:18 includes gourds (or knobs in the KJV) which I did not technically include because I was not sure how to depict that. This verse does include "open flowers" which is depicted. The doors to the Holy of Holies are bi-folding, which in the video shows an animation of them opening.

Correction gentlemen...Our G-d YAHUAH commanded us Himself that we should Not go up STEPS to reach His alter..Therefore, there were no steps whatsoever leading up to the alter of G-d. What is interesting in man’s depiction of angels, they always seem to include feathered wings. To my limited knowledge, there is no mention in the Bible of feathered wings on angels, only wings.

Sorry but your data and measurements are way off. You say the cube is 30 by 30, but the wings of the cherubs alone were 20 cubits long. Which is 30 feet. The chrubim did not fill the entire cube, so the cube was much bigger than u suggest. Also the 3d model video was cool and nice meant effort, but is far far from what is described. The two cherubs are facing each other and ON the mercy seat either end.

Most interesting. Thanks for the careful observation and commentary. I've also wondered about depictions of the huge front "vestibule"? I enjoyed the objections raised. As regards the RAMP (rather than steps) up to the bronze altar? This is likely due to the divine prohibition against steps @ Exodus 20 ²⁶.

I believe those column capitals are supposed to be of the Aeolian order, which would be accurate. The Phoenicians and other Canaanites were quite fond of them...they do look a bit Ionian tho.

The design of the temple was not Phoenicia in origin. In origin the temple was designed based off the temple of God in heaven, which God showed David in a dream. The Canaanites (Phoenicians) did help tho. All attested in the scriptures.

What did Solomon's temple look like? First you have to establish that the Solomon of the Bible was a historical figure. Then you have to establish he really built a temple. From there you can speculate all you wish about what his temple looked like. Until you establish and prove number one and number two you may as well be talking about Popeye!
