I love how he walks in place as he’s singing. Almost as he’s taking a stroll through the world he has created with his music.

the most beautiful explanation of his rhythm. i could see that world when i close my eyes. almost like he's sending it to you through his vocal frequencies. a perfect little land of happiness yet sadness too.

I think hes had a on and off addiction issue. I read an article/interview on Facebook about him battling drug abuse for a decent amount of time.
@jam31529 жыл бұрын
+Rickie Smith he had an addiction with heroin that he finally kicked it in the bucket.. sucks all that info is out in the public.. but the drug abuse effects any good thing in life.
@flyingpirahna16807 жыл бұрын
I think Anthony put all that info out there intentionally...there was a big write up and interview about it all around the time Decensus came out. Fascinating read and it hit home for me, as one of my best friends at the time was struggling with heroin addiction as well. I'm glad he's better now.

Up on the pebble driveway There sits a house It's the loneliest place I haven't spent much time there I wasn't allowed It just didn't feel right I open both of my eyes Still see an empty place, so empty But if I keep them closed And there's still a chance, that something is out there But it's all built upon a burial ground It just doesn't feel right It just doesn't feel right I made a promise to you long ago That I'd do anything to keep this home On top the frozen creek I would love to take you there Swear it froze through me On top the frozen creek, oh Up on the pebble driveway There sits a house But its the loneliest place I haven't spent much time there I wasn't allowed It just didn't seem right If I open both of my eyes Still see an empty place, so empty But if I keep them closed Then there's still the chance That someone is out there But it's all built upon a burial ground It just doesn't feel right It just doesn't seem right I made a promise to you long ago That I'd do anything to save this home On top the frozen creek I would love to take you there Swear it froze through me On top the frozen creek I would love to take you there I would love to take you there I would love to take you there

@JabezGill5 жыл бұрын
Barry Allen no it isn’t. Lol. I don’t know why so many people are commenting this on this video, it is so stupid. It’s just an Anthony Green thing-he isn’t even “walking” in time for most of it. Even he said you gotta chalk a lot of this stuff up to the drugs he was on back then.

+Javascript Kiddie no one was used to hearing such a high register voice, with the not so typical song arrangements.. it took adjusting. No one cares if a male has a high range.. as long as one can connect to the music.

Idk if you know this, but Anthony is stupid good. He had an addiction to heroin. Also, singers won't be perfect 100% of the time. But look up other performances, Anthony will be totally flawless. Also, he wasn't too bad this time even while high. You may not of seen performances of singers who are top tier, in multiple performances of the same song, but they will sound "bad" sometimes, and other times will be perfect. A singer can't be recording quality all the time, but rest assured Anthony Green has sounded exactly like his recordings many times even while adding his raspy/screaming elements. The dude is a champ. And personally as someone who has struggled with addiction, his lyrical content has helped me get my feelings out when I feel alone.
