Fantastic job! I learn a lot from your videos and how I wish I could afford a Steve Harris signature bass....
@CesareFerrari6676 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear that! If you accept my advice, a mexican pbass will cost you less and you can pretty much buy the same bridge and pickups and still you won't pay as much as for the signature. Moreover, the mexicans are very very good. The only thing you will miss is the sparkle blue finish 😅

Thank you! I'll do just that.

You don't need that bass to sound like Steve, nor to sound better , nor to enjoy playing. I play with a Yamaha TRBX174 and I can swear I enjoy as hell playing the bass and I get a pretty close tone to Steve's by cranking the treble, plus other things like strings and technique. With some good strings and good pickups you can turn a piece of paperboard into something nice. 😆😆😆 Up the Irons!

Hi Cesare.. you're absolutely one of my favorite bass players in the world... I always watch and like your videos, you're the only bass player on youtube that for me,in my opinion plays exactly like Steve, we all know he's the masters of masters but trust me, your way of playing is simply flawless, Harris himself would be so proud to see and hear someone that can do the technique so perfectly... Keep working and never stop.. you rule! I just want to know where did you buy that blue bass, I'm a begginer with the bass and I will buy the Harris' signature bass, but I want THAT blue one, and I always find the white one with the west ham symbol (harris' signature bass), the blue that you have I can't find it could you please answer me? Hugs from Paraguay.

Thank you Echelon for your kind words, I really appreciate your support! :) This is the Steve Harris Signature bass 2009 edition, so it is an older version of the white one you found. This model was discontinued by Fender, so now you can only find it second hand. I hope this helps... All the best and stay metal \m/

Very good Maiden cover as allways your covers are. By the way, why do you use two differrents technics for the arpegio? At first with thumb, and then without the thumb. There are a reason at all, like intensity of the second part, or is only a matter of taste?
@CesareFerrari6676 жыл бұрын
Thank you Diego! I am glad you noticed that! As I could see from the Ullevi Stadium concert, Steve Harris is playing this part with just classic fingerstyle technique. Anyway, the thumb arpeggio is a constant trademark of his basslines. This is why I decided to play the first two parts with my thumb, and deliver a different punch in the last part - which also differs because the bass line is not utterly the same. Rock on, Up the Irons to you!
