I don't think modern people (at least in advanced countries with modern transportation like cars and planes) appreciate that for most of human history people got around by walking, riding a horse, in a horse drawn cart, or in a boat or sailing ship. It was slow, and took a long time. Still, walking is the main way to get around in many countries today. I'm sure Paul and his companions had lots of time to think, pray, and talk together as they walked those Roman roads.

Great job, Don. Very useful for Bible students. However, please take note of a mistake in identifying Samothrace island, since the one shown from 5:02 is Lemnos island (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemnos), and the haven is actually Myrina. The correct Samothrace is located some 34 miles north-east. It's funny to note that the Wikipedia entry (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samothrace) features a wrong XVII century map for the island!

Great story and nicely presented. A suggestion for future videos - lose the zoom-in/zoom-out Google earth animations. When we have to wait for these animations to finish before Dr. Fanning speaks, it's annoying. Further, they really don't add much Dr. Fanning's story. A simple map with distances would better illustrate where Paul is going, where he was, and show us where his journey was relative to modern day countries e.g.-Syria, Turkey, Greece., etc..

Why do people have to put music with these teaching videos. You have talking ,moving videos and music ? ?

Well said.I always click on "dislike"and terminate if music is added..It would a great improvement if youtube videos indicated whether music added or not.
