It's a great route with so many views across the water. Was the last bit just before the ferry still diverted?

Squeaky brake makes a good pedestrian warning sign ☺️

I've done this a few times, it's quite good, other than the bit that's really narrow between the Cutty Sark pub and the dome

Hello Mr Bob! Looking at the developments to the east I have the feeling this path will see big changes over the next decade. The narrow bits can be a pain but I really like the trees at 8:00 I hope they survive any redevelopment.

Have you ever wanted a hooter that sounds like a squeaky brake so that you don't lose momentum every time you have to ask someone to get out of your way?

Great idea, I may need to sample it. It's a very quick, clear way to communicate the presence of a bike. I've tried a bear bell too, people hear you coming and look around in plenty of time, however the constant 'tinkle' is annoying.

I'm doing this route at some point in the summer to cycle to work (Dartford). Was the route easy to follow with your garmin because it looked confusing through some of those tight bends?

It's easier than it looks in the video, the camera is only handlebar height. I have been out to Dartford and beyond and it's ok, the path becomes gravel for some sections but it wasn't muddy at least. Take a look at this map, I don't remember where I got it from but it shows NCN route 1 in blue. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1utW6GRt0lYg7KE49bdyWY2SUf0SlleRK I've also found Waymarked Trails helpful. cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/
