Wasn't he finished school when he showed up in 2008? You finish HS at 16 in the UK. Then you go to College for training or to do A Levels if you want to go to University.

In the U.K. you don’t actually graduate you take GCSEs which are exams but once you’ve taken them that’s it! Then you can move on to college or A levels, it’s a bit different from US!
