Hi mate, this was a great video guys, and lovely bit of bushcraft cooking ,the bread turned out realy good in your little oven, worked a treat. And as for having proper chips to go whith the sausage, your face said it all, I remember the days when my granny cooked me chips in dripping, oh boy! .now we're all trying to be healthy and there's no taste to stuff. By the way your not Rob Evans Bro are you, because you sure look like him, lol. Thanks for the video, stay safe mate, best wishe's to you and your's, Stuart uk.

Great video. A tip from a home baker: when bringing the dough together, use the back of the wooden spoon. Its easier to manoeuvre and mix the dough. Then use the back of a knife/scraper to scrape the dough off. Done in no time. More tips for people that never done it is, cover dough and let it rest as is for a few minutes (3-10), this will shortcut the kneading stage. When kneading, wetting your hand will stop the dough sticking so much (might need to repeat a few times). Never add extra flour to 'make it easy kneading' to stop sticking to your hands, it'll actually will make the bread much heavier instead. Even if you don't wet your hands it'll come a stage the dough will stop sticking to the hand. Just be confident and speedy at it.

Hi Scott, great video pal. Really enjoyed. I've got one of those Swedish Mess kits, not used it in years. Can't even remember if its SS or ally. Will have to get it out and check. Only one thing missing sir............... The Welsh salted butter to go on your bread!! I'm on Gower. If you, Rob and the boys, fancy a trek, camp or cook out on Gods country let me know and I'll show you a few out of the way gems. Cheers Rich

Nice to see the old "snuskburk" (dirtycan) from my military days again. It's good for cooking but to carry it with you is a pain.

EyUp my mate, I have a Swedish army stainless mess tin set, it looks similar to yours (never done chips in it). I swear by, it if I’m overnighting with mates on a clay shoot or on a rally (R A C that’s going back) a few years? I once called mine a Swedish army trangia mess kit? and got shot down by the others and told they were nothing to do with trangia just a Swedish mess kit with a military spirit burner? If you can help might get some brownie points. As I’m in my sixty’s don’t think I’ll get brownie points just walking sticks 🦯Cheers my friend keep the videos going

What I would give to be eating that now 😂 been dieting for a year and havent had proper chips and havent had a driving license for 7 years due to health but hopefully getting it back in 6 weeks. Then I will finally be able to get out and start some bushcraft. Been watching it for years just never been able to a totally get out. Myself.

The mesh i bought off ebay. It came from China. The cake tin is a 4×4 inch aluminium cake tin i bought off amazon. Think I paid less than £5 for it.
