FDI and FII are included in capital account but Goods and services included in current account. Several committiees in India have been tasks with measuring poverty included 1. Tendulkar committee in 2009. This committee used cost of living as the basis for identifying poverty 2. Rangarajan committee in 2012 . This committee was appointed by the planning Commission to review the methodology for measuring poverty. The committee 's finding included a. Poverty was defined as living on less tha Rs 47 per day in urban areas and Rs 32 per day in rural areas. b . Poverty levels were 19% higher in rural areas and 41 % higher in urban areas compare to the Tendulkar committee estimates C. The poverty line derived from the NSSO' S consumer expenditure surveys was lower than the services actually consumed. Other committees are :- 1. VM Danekar and N Rath 2. Alagh committee ( 1979) 3. Lakh
