All these models are absolutely beautiful in both sculpts and painting. It's wonderful to see both these formerly discontinued armies taking to the field again, looking better than ever.

Saying this after looking at the lists, before the video - the +strength from the vambrace doesn't affect impact hits. Impact hits use unmodified strength of the model.

Great rapoert. Loosing a mortar turn 1 was well... Game changing. I wonder how did Khemri lost only 3 skellies charging into blunderbussiers with tier stand&shoot...

Thanks 👍 That's like double what they should have killed on average I think? 5 with blunderbusses in the front rank, so 10 shots, 6.66 hits, 2.22 wounds, 1.54 killed on average after armour and regen. Blunderbusses aren't so scary against T4

@@Arctovian true. There is a mage in a front rank. Not shooter. True. T4 is good against blunderbussiers. Volley fire could be a bit morę useful... But I feel like CR are very expensive. I have a similar list to try myself. I just pit my mage inna Taurus. There is no that much punch otherwise. I like the marching column usagę turn 1.

I like the games that are less than 2000 pt. To many battle reports on KZbin have armies that are to big for the table they are on. Which leaves no room for any kind of tactical movement.

Interesting point. I will be doing 2000pt games at some point, but I do like the 1500pt ones as it forces some tough choices with list-building but also still feels like a decent sized army, plus like you say there's lots of room on the table

Am I crazy for putting my Hierophant on my Necrolith Bone Dragon? I made it tanky with magic items. Idea is to use leech life or drop LD on enemy units before I charge. Flanks are ideally hit by Necro Knights or Tomb Scorpion I summon from the sands.

I haven't used it, and don't intend to for the following reasons: 1) Can't Arise whilst in combat 2) Can't dispel whilst in combat 3) Many spells can't be cast whilst in combat 4) Only T5 instead of T6 5) No Armour of Ages 6) Rider is much worse in combat For me 1, 2, and 4 are the biggest problems. But that's not to say it can't work for you if you play around those issues. It does have other strengths. Summoning scorpions more aggressively is a good one like you say. Also allows you to be much more aggressive with your spells too prior to entering combat.

@@Arctovian I appreciate the reply. It would be for the Mortuary cult which gets the bonus to healing passively from other priest. It would be more situational strategy meant to quickly smash big units and hope to make them flee; with 2 full command of Necro Knights given From Beneath the Sands and a Tomb scorpion for backup. It sounds fun but maybe hard to pull off.
