The ship drifts calmy through the nebula while the pilot and crew appreciate the view of the stars and colors of the cosmic debris

Quite strange and eery but still hypnotic. Lovin that distanct, filtered sound sitting just under the pluck sound. Some great sounds in there.

Quite beautiful. Thank you for creating this seed.

Very interesting... dissonant, but not haunting. I wonder what this would sound like with another reverb at the end of the chain. Well done sir!

Can't say i found it 'uncomfortable' at all ,, i found it spacey , ambient and interesting (especially the higher bell like tones and the reverb and delay ) . Great track .

I'm curious about this track because I find the bass line quite unnerving, but perhaps that's just me and everyone else finds it pleasant to listen to... Nice little experiment!

ITs an interesting bass line ,, slow pulsating , rhythmically obscure (if thats the right word ) , in isolation it maybe more unnerving ,,but then it fits with the track ,, thinking about it ,, the track is slightly unnerving but in a beautiful way .. ha :-)

I like it, but I wonder what an external high pass filter might do to this patch? Something like the MoogerFooger MF-101 or the Moog Ladder module, or the earthquaker interstellar orbiter.

Beautiful patch! Are you feeding the LFO output from the upper M32 into the delay and feeding it back into Ext. Audio input on the lower M32?
@AlastairWilsonMusic6 жыл бұрын
The outputs you can see from the VC mix section in the modgrid diagram go to the Timefactor expression pedal input, then the output of the pedal goes into the Space as usual. Nothing being fed back in!

I know I'm going to regret asking this but where is the mod grid diagram ?
@sevinsound6 жыл бұрын
Yup, I regret it already because I found it :-)

Very uncomfortable, took me right to the cold star! Next time warn listeners about thermals underneath our space suits! In the example 3 patch cable that come away from VCA's and Mix, where are they going. Cheers

The cables on the diagram that go out to the side are outputs; either audio going to the pedals or the modulation going to the pedal (that's the VC mix section bit).

Yes a bit annoying. For me more to do with glitches than with the base I think. Not sure really, I usually like glitches. Yet I like it. Sounds a bit alien, as in extraterrestrial or other worldly. The cv into the pedals, do you use this floating ring kind of cable to avoid overload or what?
@AlastairWilsonMusic6 жыл бұрын
I found a video that said to use a VCA input and output to connect to the pedal input to properly simulate the pedal - I don't exactly know why but it works!
@jonaseggen22306 жыл бұрын
Does it work with a pasiv vca? Do you use a splitter cable somehow, or a stackable?
@AlastairWilsonMusic6 жыл бұрын
I use a headphone splitter but I think a stackcable would work fine. I'm not sure if a passive vca would work though, I'm not good on the electronics side of things unfortunately.
@jonaseggen22306 жыл бұрын
The headphone splitter, is that a jack or mini jack splitter? And is it stereo? If it is stereo it might have something to do with the magic of why it works, maybe? I am in the same boat. No knowledge of electronics here either : / But will soonish buy an active VCA.
@AlastairWilsonMusic6 жыл бұрын
I don't think it is stereo - while the headphone splitter itself is, the patch cables plugged into it aren't so it's essentially mono. If you have any splitters etc maybe experiment and see what works best?
