it would be insanely top heavy wouldnt it? i think with this particular model they would have compensated for the weight difference by making the legs more dense then the average gundam

@@thatbeardedbeast It's funny Trowa did explain it a bit cause his movements are very specific and he can drop the gun but still. I guess the thrusters it uses make up for a lot.

@@thatbeardedbeast also concider: its designed to move fully loaded. Then f Trowa usually uses up 80% of his ammo in the first two minutes, making it WAY lighter. But it's still designed for the high weight, making it suddenly like a small car with a big engine.

I had always thought Heavy Arms had a retractable knife in both of his arms to fall back to close combat on once he ran out of ammo because of, that spinning slice Trowa did on that blue Aries in Antarctica. Seriously, imagine how effective its close range combat and that twister slice would have been if it did.

The most realistic gundam to construct in real life, because gundam technically just a "giant robot" and it's also heavy, it wont be as maneuverable like a fighter jet but more likely a bi-pedal tank.

It's loaded with thrusters so despite its heavy armor and all of its armaments, it can move quite fast... I still wonder why it never uses its thrusters in the anime though, its animations in SRW are really cool

Its thrusters were atmo based so it would have been useless in space.

My favorite mech. Pretty OP, with a critical flaw. "When Heavy Arms runs out of ammunition, the battle is over." This mech needs more than an Army knife, to depend on as a secondary weapon.

That depends on how tou see things. I believe the knife is also made of the same material as the gundam itself. It did after all cut an ms in half like a hot knife theough butter. While on the other hand sandrock took longer in doing the same thing on the same kind of ms using 2 bigger weapons.

I mean, that's like expecting any other MS to be as good when completely out of ranged options. Heavyarms has at least 5 ways to attack from afar between the head cannons, chest cannons, the two sets of missiles, and its main Beam Gattling Gun. It has a LOT of firepower to take on an entire Platoon by itself... And then when it does? Those knives are REAL sharp, and even without the knives, Heavy Arms is still a highly mobile, heavy, high performance MS. I would imagine getting smacked around by it is the same as getting smacked around by the Guncannon: It's gonna be a lot of blunt force, they are VERY high performance MS just on sheer specs.
