If you have a Hilux workmate or an early Hilux SR that does not have the adjustable intermittent wiper stalk, it can be quite annoying in a shower of rain. You've only got two different speeds to set your wipers and - in my opinion - they are both too fast!
The good news is that you can quickly and easily change the wiper stalk over to an intermittent stalk from a SR or SR5 that will give you all the intermittent, adjustable wiper speeds of the higher spec Hilux's.
You will need a wiper stalk with the adjustable speed dial and just some basic tools including flat screwdriver, philips screwdriver, harmonic balancer puller or steering wheel puller, adjustable wrench, torx keys and about 20 minutes. It's pretty easy.
