I've been waiting for somebody to make a kit and aftermarket radio solution for this car since 2010 when I bought mine. Even though it is way overdue, I will be swapping my deck with the instructions on this channel. Most would say it's a little bit too late, but I say it's better late than never. Thanks guys!

Yessssss. Tk god. My son and I have 07 TL types S. We both are putting systems in our cars. We did put in subs already. But the factory 2ohms system is a pain to work around. But don’t forget to pop the center channel and unplug the Sound canceling system.

Jesse, from Phantom Audio, specializes in these cars. He rebuilds and upgrades the factory amplifier your found in the kick panel. He has reverse plugs that he makes from taking the plugs out of the OEM amp. So if you ever run into a problem with these, or any Acura, he's a great source. Mobile max car audio sell a amp bypass wire and also a harness for a aftermarket radio also would of loved to see how fernando did the rear deck on this tl and if ya left the subwoofer on it or just deleted it so the bass can travel in the car but great job on the install and great details love what ya do have a happy new years guys

Cool to see how its done, but I wouldn't consider to get rid of factory unit. It works ok with Bluetooth tape. Although I consider to change out tweeters and middle dash speaker

8 out of 10 owners of these cars don't know they have a cabin filter because of the age of the vehicle. A lot have assumed that their blower motor is getting weak when actually their air cabin filter is is way wayyyy beyond do! It's behind that little rectangular panel after you take the two screws out of the glove box. Make sure you turn the air down to minimum settings because you risk the chance of damaging your customers face with a new flow of air that will be coming out of the vents. ..... ..... Lol.....sorry!

Have you guys ever done any installs on a 2016 and up Infiniti Q50? I have a 2018 with the six speaker base stereo system. I want to keep the stock radio (not that there is any upgrades other than Chinese) and install the tweeters, mid-range 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 mid woofers in the stock front door locations and coaxials in the rear doors. I'm also considering a sub in the trunk. Any advice on DSP and amplifier? Do you know of any aftermarket that can help with door chimes and the rest of factory chimes, voice and so on? Thanks for everything you guys do to help out.

I personally have had mixed results from local installers, so I no longer trust them to do work that I don't have to go back and fix myself. I can't find any info on my particular vehicle for the easy bits, I'll just have to make up my own.

Why not go to PAC website and get the vehicle specific instructions for the car and radio. Less confusing than the paperwork.

Also...i noticed you totally removed the dash clock vent. Unplugging that will cause an airbag error code that now has to be reset

Could of used the factory amp. The second harness where the factory radio is at the red with yellow stripe is the remote turn on for the factory amp

The Kenwood 5ch most likely will sound better than a 15+ year old Panasonic ELS amp.

Yes it will. I was saying if they wanted to retain the factory amp theres a way to turn it on. But since there installing a 5ch they dont need it
