I saw originally Ashita no Joe 2, I belive, it was in the 90s, when my father rented a VHS for me, back then I did not even know what anime was , and the VHS was titled Rocky Joe. I was amazed with the few episodes I saw. Two weeks ago I remembered this anime for no reason, and I searched for the episodes in the internet, I was not aware that there were Season 1 and 2 , I am currently watching season 1 where Joe is in Jail, so emotive, and every time this song plays it gives me the chills. Reflects of a different society, overall

las prisiones juveniles de Japón de esa época eran para menores de 21 , Joe cuando entra tiene 15 y Rikiishi 21 cuando muere Joe 17 y Rikiishi 23 . Curiosidad: Joe muere con 20 , Yoko al comienzo de la serie tiene 20 , la primera vez que aparece Nishi tiene 18 , se supone que Tange boxeaba en los 30s en la primera serie así que tiene cerca de 60...... este tipo de cosas salen en el manga pero no en la serie..... que tengas buen día :D
