Fantastic video Rune, your videos are getting better by the day. I've managed to get my hands on a Triton, it's branded Triton2 and as you would expect, only has a two element sidebar. Even so it's very, very difficult to pick.

Michael Maynard thanks. The 2 pin version is only for low security such as a padlock or letterbox. It is not recomended for the front door. And if someone break the letterbox open and decode the lock, they still can’t get the value for the last 3 sidebar pins.

Yes we care about security. No need to make it too easy, Today even letterboxes come with the 600Rb cylinder as default. Have not seen a 5 pin in a new install for many years

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing this wealth of history and information. I, of course, noticed you left out the V10, which is an upgrade to the Twin 6000 with left and right hand sidebar pins for expanded masterkeying capability, abet with the same sidebar design. Those ASSA folks are extremely smart -- their locks are most definitely some of the best made in the world today. How's Covid-19 in Denmark? (PS - I laughed at your comment wondering how Jason can sleep at night selling "Crapset", i.e., Kwikset)

We never had a V10 in Ruko. That's why. And When I make a video about the "Ruko Flexcore" it will be a UK import, we do not have them here en Ruko Denmark

@@RuneInternational Interestingly I have a ASSA / RUKO Padlock #2 and a #3, both with "snowman" V-10 cores. They were NOS (New Old Stock) but the #2 padlock's plug has the current dual shallow countermilling but with the older "gin bottle" spools installed -- must have been manufactured at the time of switch over to the newer style.

I am too busy for the time being to deal with trades, but I will get around to do it. I have plenty of old Ruko to share, as it is my job to upgrade locks. I am also making some with the crazy lockmania Habo key cuts

Is there any chance you could do a video of gutting the ruko combi 2? I'm curious to see if it is supposed to come stock with smooth finger pins and side bar as opposed to the serrated ones
