I created a KZbin channel for my business name, but I haven’t done anything with the channel yet. I called the business Curious Pickings because my friend and I don’t stick with a single type of craft and we both love thrifting and upcycling, much of what we “play” with ends up just being a curious thing.

I have that very same egg mold. I’ll be using resincrete in it. I was concerned about the wobbly looking base but yours turned out beautifully. That gold mica is amazing. So gorgeous! ❤ I’m in the Chicago area, normally we have snow on the ground from November to March with some snowfalls as late as May. Those are rare but they do happen. The last 4 years we’ve hardly had any snow. At first I was OK with it but now I realize climate change is all too real. Thanks for sharing the story of your studio. It’s always cool to know a little about the artists that you admire. Have a Happy Easter.😊

Wonderful trinklet tray ,love that yellow color, and the easter egg sitting above it do adorable with that cite little Chick handle 😀 😍😍 As you asked, why did we name our channel a specific way,so my reason is that I never planned to reveal my identity on yt as i had never crafted,so my crafts were all beginner level and I knew I wouldn't get even 100 followers. But as followers count increased,I got a bit more confident to disclose my name 😀😀 Happy Easter,Ms Dianne 💜🐰🐣

Loved them Diane and that egg the colour is 😍 My channel name comes from a short story below, lol. I used to be called The Resin Mama when I 1st started out on my socials as I was doing it solo and then as my partner started to be interested in resin I started it up as a little busines for him to do and I was doing small bits of resi. In with my other business. So I came up with D&A Resin from mine and my partners I initials, mine being Donna and his being Antonio, hence the D&A. Hope you are well, Diane.. Great video, as always. I look forward to more upcoming videos ❤❤

@WendigovanStudio thank you.. the d&a is a take on DNA. We wanted to make it something like it was in the genes/family because it is a family thing that we do.. glad you are well. And that's me to just plodding along lol 😆

Pretty cool Diane, I too wondered where your name came from so neat to hear. I created my KZbin channel based off of the name that I have used since the late 90s for my crafts. I changed the c in custom and created to k's and was the 1st to do it in my area. Love the tray it is super cute.

Hi. I love your chick tray, it came out so pretty. 👏🏻😁 I chose my name set up the way it is because I wanted my name in it, I wanted the word craft in it, and I love things medieval and dragons. I also play World of Warcraft. I’m about to start a dragon series for Year of the Dragon. Your story was interesting to hear. I love learning why creators chose the titles they did. Unlike you, I don’t have a craft room or shed, although I’d love to. One day. I have to set up and break down every single time I film. I’d have more videos if I had my own craft room. As it stands, I can only do resin in warm months here in PA in the States, but I may stop altogether since I have to go outside to do it and it is getting to be too much for me to carry everything out, including the filming equipment and then break it down and bring it all back in as my legs get tired so easily. I’m 68, so I really need a craft room. Hence, I do all sorts of crafting so I have something to make for my channel. But thanks for sharing.

Thanks and thanks for watching. That makes perfect sence for your channel name. Oh no that sucks. Although I can imagine how hard it is, as being disabled I find just doing 1 video a week very tiring and painful. To be honest, I don;’t think I would have started my channel if I didn’t have my studio as my crafting area is in the dinning section of the kitchen and isn’t suitable for doing resin in. I hope you don’t have to give up doing resin. Maybe just take the bare essentials outside with you. But if you do, at least you still have all the other craft things you can still do indoors. x

You mentioned that you do diamond painting. I've been doing those for about 5 months & it's the only craft I do. I usually do round drills, but have just recently started trying square. I've noticed with the square, some of my drills keep popping up. I bought a lanbiede sealer from Amazon but it didn't really work. Do you seal your paintings or have any advice? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've asked other creators but they never responded. You've responded to my comments before, so hopefully you see this. By the way, I love this project. It's adorable

Thanks for watching. Ok so my advise would be to avoid sealing square drills as they tend to get very stiff and completly stick together. This can be a good thing if you are wanting to monut the picture, so would be great at keeping it more flat. However I don’t display most of mine as I have done soo many now, I could probably cover almost every wall, floor to ceiling in a large bedroom lol. So my larger pictures will be rolled back up and stored that way. What I must say is, you have to roll the square drill pictures with the drills facing outward. The rounds have room around them so they can be rolled facing inward, as long as they aren’t too tight. I have starred to roll all of mine outward facing now anyway, just to be safe. As for the drills popping out, that could be down to the drills not being fully pressed down. If you lay your picture flat, you can slowly run your fingers over the surface and you will feel where itdon’t quite feel the same as the rest. If you check and there are some sticking up a little, just get your pen tool and press them down onto the glue. Another reason this can happen is if the drills are misshapen or have extra bits sticking out. These are what we call trash drills and need to be thrown away. If there are any that are being forced off of the canvas, then these trash drills could be the problem. I hope this is of help to you and I am always happy to give advise to anyone if they ask. However big my channel gets, I will always help fellow crafters to continue their crafting journey. xx

My channel name is Mooncrafter nails and more. I'm a cancer ♋ and that's associated with the 🎑 moon and I LOVE the moon. I'm the kind of person that people ask "is there anything you can't do"? Which is because the list of things I do is longer than the things I don't 😂. So Mooncrafter was a nickname my kids gave me. Unfortunately my daughter was murdered by her husband in 2012 and my husband of 40 years died from cancer in 2018 so my zest for making videos left me for quite a while. In 2022 I met a man who was everything I wanted and needed and he says the same about me. We're getting married next year so I hope I can get back into videos soon and focus on whatever I'm into at the moment. Love your videos sweetie and that you are proving to those who are dealing with disabilities that they have SO MUCH to offer!

Oh my that is so awful, I have no words for how you must feel with such losses. Losing both of my parents was hard enough but can't imagine your pain. However I am so happy for you that you have found someone else to share you life with that makes you so happy again. As for your video's, just come back to them when you are ready. Thank you for you support. It really is great for my mental state, knowing I am giving something back and that folks are enjoying what I share. xx
