this is a really old comment but i hope you don't mind my answering! i understand the confusion, to me both this song and daydream generation always read as megumi ogata/kurama singing, even if i knew that was incorrect. the original singer for both of those songs is matsuko mawatari! hope this helped nwn

If you dont mind me adding adding some info, there are 2 versions of this song, one sung by the voice actress of kurama, and the original version by matsuko mawatari. this version is the kurama version. hope this adds to your understanding :)

If anyone here has ever heard of Naruto All Stars or Bleach Concept Covers, it's basically like that. They take voice actors from the original cast and they do covers of certain songs from the series. This song specifically is a remake with Kurama's voice.
