Thank you for all the videos, Jasmin. I'm starting chemo in 2 days and will be using the cooling cap.

I tried it twice now on AC chemo. The first time it really wasnt that bad, i was actually unsure if it had been put on well because it dudnt seem uncomfortable. I couldnt really read or anything, felt dizzy like from car sickness and my brain just couldnt process what i was reading. I was also told to take 2 paracetamols. 30 minutes before putting it on. The second time either the nurse was faster and didnt wait so much until we put it on, but i found it really uncomfortable. It trigered a big migraine and dizzyness. I hated it. My hair so far is shedding more than before chemo, but so far not in clumps, not in huge amounts. I am in week 3 since starting chemo. I am conflicted by the fact that i hate wearing it and it nakes me feel sick, but that it also seems to keep my hair so far. I have 2 more rounds of AC and then will switch to 12 weeks of weekly paclitaxel. The thought of doing it 14 more times is daunting.. I'm not sure what to do. Part of me feels like i owe it to me, to other women who try, to my husband, to someone to do it, to try to keep my hair. Part of me wants to just let it go. Part of me is ashamed of giving up and part is afraid i might regret not doing it because my hair is one of the things that make me feel beautiful. It's difficult.

Γι'αυτο δινουν παρακεταμολη ντεπον.Κι επισης δινουν αντιεμετικα,και αντιδιαρροικα,διοτι η ιδια η χημειοθεραπεια,προκαλει εμετο κ διαροια. Ψαξτε τα βιντεο με τα απλα συμπτωματα παρενεργειες χημειοθεραπειας,γιατι υπαρχουν κ πολυ πιο βαριες παρενεργειες.

I used the cold cap and within 13 days I started loosing my hair. Within 16 days it's all falling out. Freezing cold cap was torture for me, 12 hours with this on during my long chemo day and it did not work.

Any tips for someone already suffering from Trigeminal neuralgia? My main trigger is cold weather and cold wind. The cold cap seems to also be a trigger. Any suggestions other than the headband, which I am definitely going to try?
