Thank you for the video, it helped me solve my issue with the "wind" pin starting and stopping with the tube. Do you happen to know how to stop a delay with the :wind" pin starting? My air starts 1 to 2 seconds after I start the job.

Matt, Is there a way to set the blower on high for etching and then off while it is cutting on the same job?

The air assist kits controls that air ON = High Air flow (from your air pump/compressor) and Air OFF = Low airflow via the restrictor valve on the air solenoid. however I recommend using ON for cutting and Off for etching for most materials

Hi Matt, we ended up replacing our Ruida controller and screen after Boss though that was the problem with our x axis reversing polarity in the middle of cutting. We ended up finding a cut wire to the stepper motor and replaced that fixing the problem. Now that we have the new controller and screen our air is blowing while the laser is not firing and not blowing while the laser is firing. Is this an easy fix configuring the controls in RDWorks V8? Thank you.

Hi Matt, what air compressor are you using with your Ultimate Air Assist?

At the moment just the small air pump, I've just purchased a larger 50L silenced air compressor but have not used it yet, still working on setting up pressure regulators.

OK, I was asking because I have the same red and black but am very restricted for space yet I still want to upgrade the air supply but havent the room for a 50L. Any suggestions? Thanks

HI I dont have blow type. Seting in Rd works. User/other/other. There is only array procesing amd backlash. Where can I find it ?

it is not available in older versions of RD Works, you can upgrade to a newer version. mwlaser.com.au/sdm_downloads/rd-works-v8-01-48/

Yes, it is called "AirAssist" in the cut settings editor. Eventually you have to change the mode in your controller because this only goes in RDworks and not in Lightburn

the blow mode setting needs to be changed in RD Works at the moment as I have not found any setting in Lightburn where it can be changed.

@@geterdnboy Yes, absolutely. Controller settings can be changed in either application, as settings are saved on controller so it is effective for both Lightburn & Rd works
