Excellent results using basic materials. I like how your ocean surface is affected by the passing of the vessel, rather than being random, confused water texture. Bravo on your first job!

I will shortly be building my first ship model and have been researching modelling tips and techniques and been trying to find a good method of doing the seascape so I was delighted to come across your video. This is one of the best I have seen and I especially love the way you have used picture frames, that never occured to me, what a great idea! Thank you for posting this....(.btw the background music seemed unneccessary to me and made your commentary a bit difficult to hear.)

Klasa diorama!
@littlesailor4 жыл бұрын

@@littlesailor My pleasure.... I am building a harbor scene in HO 1/87 scale. I will be trying Mod Podge for the first time today. I have never used it before. The Gloss Medium I used shows too many brush strokes so hoping the Mod Podge small ripples will hide the brush strokes. Philip

Great work. What product do you use on the 4.1 minute? Is its mod podge that dries white? Or is it gesso? Thought that mod lodge dried clear. Thanks.
@littlesailor3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, it's MOD PODGE. Just after applying the glue is white but when it dries it's clear. I think I've mentioned it in the video. :)

Hi, I used tamya clear blu with Tamiya X-20A, but it stripped off the layers of Tamya sea blue that i have used before (I also use Tamia fine surface primer). Do you know the reason? How many hours I have to wait before to use clear color or Tamya x22 with brush (I waithed 5 hours)? Thank you
@littlesailor6 ай бұрын
Hmm it’s hard to tell. I usually wait a bit longer 20-24 hours.

After I applied primer over the dry mod podge I noticed tiny holes. Did that happen to u ?
@littlesailor4 жыл бұрын
Probably too much primer and there were bubbles... It's better to put couple thinner coats than too much paint with one coat.
