Brother Emile of Taizé (www.taize.fr/en) is - I hope I can say this - my long-time friend and companion when I do the spiritual exercises in silence in this beautiful French village. We met for the first time in 2000, during my very first silence, which still has an important meaning in my life.
Even then Brother Emile surprised me with his ability to listen, to give the right words, and above all with his ability to point to God in my life. I can say that he was
one of my most important burning bushes through which God spoke to me.
Therefore, when He came to Ljubljana, I just had to satisfy my curiosity about what were HIS burning bushes and how he responded to them.
About the podcast
The purpose of this podcast is to inspire you with the stories of people who are already living their vocation, so that you too may discover burning bushes within you
and courageously step out onto a new path.
This podcast is usually in Slovene and the guests come from Slovene background.
This episode is actually the only one in English so far. It was recorded during the European Youth Meeting in Ljubljana (taizeljubljana...) , Slovenia, which took place on the occasion of the New Year 2024 and brought together almost 5,000 young people from Europe and beyond.
