In addition to the Supreme Court supporting the man in his “Sabbath” observance- there was a very similar case in 2018 where an SDA pharmacist was fired for keeping the real Sabbath and not going into work on Saturday. The Supreme Court upheld Walgreens, his employer. The Supreme Court has made their decision on what day they think is “Sabbath” and a precedent has now been set for both days. No to Saturday, yes to Sunday.

And it was a Seventh-day Adventist lawyer, Brother Cherney,who defended the postal worker and argued it before the SCOTUS. Why did he defend Mr.Gerald Groff? Brother Cherney answers," we must proclaim religious liberties not just for ourselves(SDAs). " He's represented Muslims, Sikhs, etc. One woman was Muslim, whom he ended up giving Bible studies to and i believe he said she became SDA. The idea is not that 7th day is the TRUE sabbath , but that the idea that if the 1st day of the week is the day the postman worshiped , THAT, it is that man's constitutional right . Do we forget our brother Alonzo T. Jones, 1888, one of the duo Jones& Waggoner, who presented the Righteousness by Faith truth which SDAs rejected at the GC of 1888, which E.G.White supported ? A.T. Jones argued the Blair Bill before Congress(?) because this Senator Blair introduced a national Sunday law bill and only A.T.Jones' , through God's grace, succeeded in turning back that national Sunday law bill. The LORD is INDESCRIBABLY merciful to His people. I realise more and more, i NEED a total transformation in my life. I'm so tired of this world. Never really felt i belonged. I am a disfellowshipped SDA, if there's such a thing. Since COVID Crisis the SDA 's i knew were unmasked... don't hear from any of them. There have people on social media however, who have been so warm and loving and are praying for me. That is sad INDEED. But this i KNOW: JESUS CHRIST is my BEST friend and He has NOT left me alone or given up on me.
