07 Mercedes C300 no communication with transmission control module

I have a Vw Polo, this other day I was driving and all of a sudden the gear disappeared on the dash, and started blinking on the gear lever. Pulled aside and switched off, started it and it came back to normal. The following day after driving in the morning and parking it, decided to drive in the afternoon but when I turned the ignition on, the Park gear never indicated on the dash, the P on the lever was blinking, hence unable to start it. Scanned it and U0101 ame up, of course the battery was faulty, replaced it but the problem is still there and after another scan, it's showing 01315 (Brake Electronics- Lost communication with TCM) and every morning, it starts without problems, but after idling for about 20 to 30 minutes, the gear disappears again. What could be wrong?

I have a 02 Mercedes c240. I had a battery go completely dead in it and recently installed a new one and now I get a P240C code related to the n15 component gear select module with the car now stuck in limp mode and the shifter won’t let me go past neutral to park. I replaced this same component a few years back due to the same exact issue from an older battery that was at the end of its lifespan. The odd thing is that I can leave the battery unplugged for an or or so and hook it all back up and the problem goes away on the first drive out but the issue comes back when I take the car out for the 2nd time around. I read the codes off of a icarsoft scanner and now I’m wondering what else could be the cause of this issue?

Could there be a problem with the blue wires in communicating with the can bus system?

Yeah, good video I also have the same problem of a 513 code which is a communication code.It looks like somebody replaced a transmission.Possibly didn't program the module.But I gotta use vow body with a model and programmed it to my Inn.I plan on swapping it out.Hopefully that will take care of the problem

Also check underneath front passenger side floor board for water contamination at tcm

Going to check my power wires to the conductor plate tomorrow if I do have 12 V I will need to check the blue wires for Bolt reference and communication to the can bus. I replaced the old conductor plate with a used one and had it cloned all information transferred when it came back and I installed it I did a release of transport and got all yeses so everything is activated. The car drives seems to drive for erratic shifting in 1st to 2nd and possible downshifts did the reading on my computer. I have no communication from TCM to PC ECM, which I feel will not enable me to do adaptations. This is where I’m at. at the worst. I’ll just get another. TCM module and Clone see if that works.

Check for water under floor board on front passenger side. Pull back carpet and floor board panel.

hi there... my 06 slk350 has the same issue; i have checked all connections, wiring, fuses, relays, battery and last i did the same as you, i checked the power supply to the unit it reads 12.35 where you able to get an aftermarket replacement? thanks

Check for water contamination tcm location. I think its located at front passenger side foot well

i read the tcu is part of the conductor plate, however i checked that compartment just in case but its empty also clean no signs of water damage whatsoever. i am at this point looking the option to replace the conductor plate but i am worry about the programming. i rather buy it ready to install and drive. any suggestions??@@johnandeddie

Go to front passaenger side floor board, pull back carpet and remove floor board. Check for water contamination at tcm

Hello I have the following problem no communication with my gearbox via obd On the other hand I have 12v and 3v can on the socket which goes to the gearbox. Is my gearbox out of service? Or should I direct my research elsewhere?

Do you have a scan? Tool that is able to do adaptations on the gear box? to teach it park neutral reverse and Drive? Or just absolutely no communication with your gearbox you have to have a Buy directional scan for your specific Model
