08/01/24- CBPS Training: Part 1 Decarb District Energy System

The Clean Buildings Team is hosting a two-part training event on the compliance requirements for a district energy system's decarbonization plan and the Clean Buildings Performance Standard (CBPS). A decarbonization plan can span up to 15 years or more, giving building owners more time to comply with the CBPS. The plans must contain strategies to decarbonize the heating plant and reduce energy use through conservation efforts at the plant and at the building-level.
