It’s so hard to go to church nowadays. People will act so nice at church but once out of church they are a total different person. My wife and I can’t even meet friends at church because of this issue and how they live outside of church.

I’m so sorry this is your experience with people, but I promise not all are like that! Bigger churches sometimes attract those who want to remain part of the crowd, I’ve found… please don’t let your heart remain discouraged, pray for peers in the faith who will come alongside you as friends. Pray He will provide those people, because I guarantee they’re looking for you too and seeing the same outcome so far… that they haven’t found you yet. There are people, such as myself, who are in the same boat. My hubby and I don’t have “people” either, and I don’t want to (yet I can see it happening) start to stop looking because we’ve started to be believe it won’t happen. Wouldn’t Satan be delighted to discourage us and prevent the growth in faith and friendship from occurring? Oh, how he would relish that… and I don’t want to give him that pleasure. Stay strong in the faith! Pray for your future friends, be the type of person you’re looking to find, and remember… where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them. It can be you and your wife praying together, and you may just find your friends weren’t far off all along. Just writing to encourage you, as it reminds me of how I want to be postured while also in similar shoes. Praying for you, brother in Christ, that God will fulfill your needs in this area. 🙏❤️
