This song.. there’s something about fruits basket that’s hard to describe but perfect. Other sad animes are just tragic, but this one is beautifully hopeful even in its darkest moments. It’s funny and heartwarming while still being deeply mysterious and romantic and meaningful.

this song reminds me of my classmate named james from when i was in pre school. he used to sit behind me and play with my hair and braided my hair. he used to tell me how soft and good smelling my hair was. i also remembered how he gave our class ice pops during his birthday. sadly i moved, transferred schools and never saw him again. i'm now in high school. i hope to meet him again, i really miss him.
