Spending a lot of time with the Lyra this weekend. This one is a noise ambient soundscape slowly building into noisy melodic techno.

It did! There's something about Soma instruments that make it crazy fun to make stuff. Thanks for listening!

I love how quiet and subtle the opening is.

Sounds great! Love that hht with the lfo. Very smart.

Thanks! Yeah, you can get some interesting things happening with that LFO modulating the HPF on the HHT. Sometimes I can get little snare-like hits sprinkled with open/closed hats which is some awesome variation in one module.

Very nice. What are the Somas running to (i.e., mixer, etc)?

Killer performance! Love the Lyra flourishes coming in around 16:39 Guessing you build up the entire patch first, then hide all the voices and slowly bring them in for the performance? Great work

Thanks Steve! Yeah you're right, I built up a techno-style patch and then slowly bring in the wet delay first and then blend in the dry signal.
