As beautiful as this video is... the sheer brutality of the French Revolution and the massacre that was the aftermath is far from something to celebrate. To the people who lived during that time it must have felt something like living in the end of days with the sheer amount of death, famine, war and pestilence around them. Yeah it wasn't part of the story plot, it was like a "bonus mission" where people of today accidentally screwed up while hacking then sended you to far ahead of history but later on fixed it then continued with the main story.... it makes sense if you played the game
