My older brother was a Red Squadron guy. After he passed away from cancer in 2009 Will took his Red Squadron hat off his head and gave it to me at the The Ready Room. Not sure if he remembers that but it has stuck with to this day and I still have it. So that being said “THANK YOU WILL!!!!!” That means more to me than you know.

First time I saw Will Chesney was on Ritland’s podcast. He is remarkably more relaxed and eloquent now. It is great to see because my initial take was his TBI’s impacted him to a near devastating level. Great episode, gentlemen.💪

Just came across this today, I was sitting next to him on the bin laden job, some of the guys were having bets the dog would bite my face off, as I tried to make pals with him. Got some treats from will and sat down in front of the dog. Suffice to say we became good buddies. I was also on the Capt Phillips job too, with another brit, I was the last one out the plane drifted off from the rest of the group, my mate saw this and drifted over to join me, we got picked up by a small boat, the pilot of which jumped on top of a large shark coming to take a bite out of me, glad to say it never got fed that day and attacked the boat as we headed to the ship.

This podcast really hit home with me. I’ve been obsessed with the teams for as long as I can remember and am about to give bud/s a whirl and hearing Will talk hits right on it man. I’m about 20 minutes from where will is from and he’s exactly right, there really isn’t much to do here in setx other than workout or like some others, they go off into drugs and that becomes their lives. All I can think about 24/7 is making this dream a reality and getting out of setx. If you’re not from here don’t come and if you are then I wish you the best of luck😂

Isn’t it amazing the best of SF people have difficult and troubled early lives with brushes with the law etc. the story of Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham of 22 SAS is a nightmare of early life. He ended RSM of the SAS. An inspiration to many youngsters. This gentleman’s story is almost identical. Non conformists who have that in depth to overcome and succeed through self motivation. Good man

ALSO FOR ANYONE WONDERING. WILL HAS OFFICIALLY DONE MORE FOR THE SEAL TEAM & OUR COUNTRY then he ever did while in the military! The force multiplier effect the books have on recruiting is far more significant that being on any operation period. The movie top gun, Tom cruise has done more for our military then people in the military. That force multiplier large scale recruiting secures our future. Every operator in jsoc or socom should be writing books if they really wanna make a difference.

Btw any Jsoc or Socom units have been writing books since day 1. Movies since day 1 delta force sent advisors for the chuck norris movie. The idea was to use it as psyops to try and deter any hostage takers from following threw. But I’ve yet to see a single book that endangers national security. Remember silent professional was a term made up in vietnam so crooked politicians wouldn’t be held accountable for going into Laos or doing stupid stuff. That silent professional crap is what has our country in a mess. -- but more importantly we are all volunteer and we depend on books, movies, TV shows for recruiting.

The seal that went up with the stairs shot him, was probably a fatal shot; but did not kill him then and their. O'Neil shot and killed him, or put bluntly he shot and finished him while he's was wounded. But that person hasn't said anything publicly

This is something that I’ve, for some odd reason that I truly can’t identify, had a hard time believing, too. But, until, I hear/see something that convinces me otherwise - I’m choosing to be onboard with O’Neil being responsible.

Thank you for ur service! U r the real deal. I seen the Bin Laden raid n that was bad assed n deserved! I just wish when u guys took his body w u that u guys wrapped him in American flag and that’s how he went out. Luv is in the detail’s at least that’s what Oprah say’s. Just saying.. I luv the documentary on the raid and the movie n my evenly match other favorite movie is 13 Hrs. One thing stuck w me from 13 hrs was what Boon said “ All the Gods, All the Heavens and All the Hells r within u.” I started really thinking about that because I’m Wiccan and my mom n my whole extended family is orthodox Roman Catholic n my husband is Atheist but his side is all born again Christian n I have Hindu n Buddhist friends n Jewish friends all religions stem from pagan religions mainly Celtic, Roman and Greek and that really resonated with me n I never forgot it.
