Do glad you made it home from Tennessee when you did. Eastern Tennessee and some places in southwestern Virginia have been hit hard. A little town near me was completely under water

We have a Gen rac and haven’t lost power for it to come on. We were lucky in our parts of NC. Just some bad rain and wind. But Asheville and some other parts of NC suffered terribly.

I live near beachville fl about 22 miles from Highsprings. We had some damage but mostly limbs and trees down. Got our power back on last night. We were so blessed. Praying for everyone that was in the path of the storm.

Nancy, Tomorrow morning, call the propane company and ask if they can deliver, IF you end up needing more gas. Post-disaster, propane may or may not be widely available. Also, if you can go online or make any calls, contact your power company and see what the timeline is for restoring service to your area. You're in a small-ish town, so your area may not be a high priority to them. Better to know these things now so you can conserve now, rather than if you run out of gas and end up without power for days. Take care. 🐞

That looks really pretty. I like the two colors. Some of the end color is in the rest of it. AND LEAVE THE BLACK OUT. That will destroy the overall color. Stop with the use of black.

Our power just came back on, been off since Friday around noon...we got straight line winds from the hurricane, and we live high in the mountains of southern WV...it knocked trees over all over our little "creek"... I live on Beech Creek, I say that I live on the beach in the mountains, lol... glad you are okay, hope Billie is, too! ~Leela

I am so NOT happy with Joann's I had order 20 of the spooky in big twist and they sent me ( get this) a quilting ruler??? Called and they refunded needless to say they are now out of stock with the color I really wanted. I am very disappointed with them I just wanted my yarn sorry Nancy I just needed to vent. But am glad you and hubby and family are okay.

Hi Nancy, so glad you guys are okay and your property wasn't lost. This whole storm has caused catastrophic damage and loss of life in several states. The whole landscape of East TN and western NC has been changed forever, it is so sad. They are still searching for so many victims of the flood waters. Definitely praying for everyone.
