Not sure about the price but check them out for sure when your picking the wrap. But honestly, its going to be hard to be that clean ass black paint you have.

@TheLifeOfJayNice I had a 07 base since almost new . Now that's a project. The EXT just getting used to now. The SUV belive it or not maneuvers better & seems quicker a tad. I like the truck though. Have a few systems from prior rides kicking around might though something in it here soon.

Tbh man it took me awhile to even find this box… no one had it in stock guy ended up not wanting this one an it fell in my lap so to speak. There is a shop on Central And Broadway north of Broadway by petes fish and chips. Decent guy named Dogg. Stop by one day an talk to him… if not try sounds good to me in Tempe off of Broadway..

Yes the box I have can fold… all you have to do when you get the box is get some holes drilled in so it can go inside the factory bracket. Mines isn’t done yet but it will be on the next box cause this one coming out. I want 3 12’s 🤣

Someone told me I would need to run a separate 4 channel amp for the mids and highs but didnt think my front and rear door speakers would be able to take it.....Whats your advice bro ? Not trying to cheap out, thats no such thing when you're in an escalade but why buy more speakers if your stock speakers can handle it. They sound so much better and louder since I added my Pioneer headunit

As for the speakers yes they sound good for awhile but then book one goes then another. I should’ve upgraded so at once now I’m gonna do mid highs An tweeters. Spend it once.. cry about it once then it’s over haha

Shame on the poor install quality. With the products available today, the wiring should look way cleaner. Also, the subs look like they are out of phase (wiring is backwards) as they seem to be moving inwards on the bass hits, not outwards. Maybe just the video frame rate. For 2 twelve, the chain on the rearview mirror should be bouncing. Typical Pioneer junk, what they list is not the true output.

@The Life Of Jay Nice There are so many options today for audio equipment. As always, budget is a big factor. The speaker locations in the escalade/avalanche are very poorly located. Running a DSP will fix a lot of the issues. At the end of the day, what is you objective? Have people hear you a block away, purely sound quality where you get shivers listening to your favorite track or all of the above. Just find a shop that has the ability and know-how to install whatever equipment you supply them. By them saying the factory Bose speakers are adequate, shame on them. Remember the saying "No highs and no lows, it must be bose." Paper cones and tiny magnets equals terrible sound. I want to be very clear here, not trying to brag at all. Have just made many expensive audio mistakes over the years and don't want to see nice people get ripped off of their hard earned $. In mine, I am running all Audio Frog active to a 6.5", 4" and 1.5" to the front stage and just a 6.5" coax speaker in the rear doors for fill. 2, 10" subs ported in a custom fiberglass enclosure. Front stage is seeing approx. 740w per side, 120w to each rear speaker and 3500w to the subs. This is all RMS and amplifiers are Arc Audio with and Arc Audio DSP. Head unit is a Kenwood Excelon. With this set up, it is so incredibly clean at all volumes and with the windows down outside the truck, you can hear every single note of the sing you are listening to Crystal clear while feeling the bass. Granted, the pair of Audio Frogs 6.5" mid drivers cost the same as the whole pioneer system. I saved for a few months to be able to achieve this level. Also, Joe Blows car audio shop don't have the skills to perform an install like this. All equipment is hidden behind or under panels in the vehicle. Also, I might add, you need massive sound treatment in these vehicles because of all the plastic door panels and flimsy roof. A system like this will run you in the neighborhood of $16k. Almost what the vehicle is worth in todays market, but I have owned mine since new and really just sits in the garage now with only 18k original miles. I will probably be selling it soon to use the money towards my next toy.
