One of the best pieces in the score. So disappointing this one didn't make the first soundtrack release.

Ellis "POUR IT ON LADS!!!! POUR IT ON!!!!" Chamberlain "Tom go plug that hole." Chamberlain "Tom! TTTOOOMMM!!" Three of the best lines from one of the best scenes in one of the best history movies Hollywood has ever made! And they maintained historic accuracy beyond a bit of dramatization and scale. The only way to improve this film is with the sacrifice of the 1st Minnesota.

I didn't even know there was a deluxe version of the soundtrack...and it has all the best songs that I only wished were on the original soundtrack, thank you for uploading this.

Agree. And the very best, most chilling scene of the entire 4 1/2 hr director's cut for me is, "BAYONETS!!"

"Well, we can't shoot, and we can't fall back or the whole flank caves-in... so, we'll fix bayonets. We'll have the advantage going down the hill. The Rebs gotta be tired if we are, so we'll charge".

3:13 ... was that flanking unit from Texas? .. Cuz MY GOSH that's vibe I feel when slam in... that's about the scariest notes anywhere in the whole film... what a vicous fight.

The 20h ME primarily fought the 15th and 47th AL. The 4th and 5th TX fought the right end of Vincents line.

They're all great. I just wished they put EVERYTHING in the soundtrack. Gettysburg has one of the best film soundtracks in history.

@@Cherrywick76 Agreed. What makes it so good is that despite the theme being a classic, there are so many creative themes throughout the movie. A song is never repeated.
