Wehey Skyler! That's an awesome looking book. Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle was from my hometown of Portsmouth, along with Charles Dickens!

That’s awesome! The novel series I’ve been reading talks about lot about Portsmouth as one of the main characters is from Wickham and he always tried to dock in Portsmouth for refitting so he can go visit his wife.

Precious few years we get with them so little. I think I’m on a falcon kick because it’s actually smoking how it should now. I’m sure I’ll move on after a bit. Loving this book! Have a great afternoon!

In the Holmes canon there are four novels and fifty-six short stories. You don't need a lot of time to read the short stories, but they are all worth a read. There is a club for Sherlockian nuts like me called the Baker Street Irregulars, homed in New York, I believe, and scores of "scion societies." When I lived in Rhode Island I belonged to one such society called the Cornish Horrors. The meetings were a terrific amount of fun, with speeches, poetry, quizzes, playlets, plenty of pipe smoking, jokes, food and drink, and lots of good fellowship. I don't know whether there is a scion society in North Georgia, but it bears investigation. I'd leave the falcon pipe at home, though.

Good Wednesday Morning Skyler! We have been down in the 20's up here in the Rockies. Watched my dad smoke a falcon for my entire life - I still struggle with mine. Congrats on #2 on the way. A boy who loves tractors - you are raising him right! My daughter is 21 and her favorite restaurant is still Cracker Barrel. I admire that you read - that is getting rare these days.

I just cant bring myself to get a Falcon pipe. What exactly is the benefit they offer? Is it the ability to rotate the bowls? Never read the Sherlock books. Its on my list though👍 Happy belated b-day to your boy🎉🎉 ✌️😎👍

I think they’re good for wet smokers with that catch basin at the bottom. I’m not a wet smoker, I just like the look. Could never keep it going though until recently. Sherlock is a great read!
