My god, the board op took FOREVER in the bonus round -- check out how he nails ALBERTA @25:32 immediately with the clock showing 59:2, and they let the clock tick for almost 5 full seconds before moving on to the next word! Seems like extra ticks happened a TON on this show. Didn't really affect the game here, but if the buzzer got 'em on the last word, they'd have a case to argue ;P

I remember "Shortcuts from General Foods." In fact there was one of those on the copy of Rick & Rita vs. Richard & Pat, another episode of this show, that used to be available until the associated KZbin channel gradually began to shut down in mid-2019.

They did something different than usual for a season two episode. Usually for season two they show the letterless puzzle before doing the first clue, then the keyboard, then the solver of the first clue goes up to the board. (For season one they did the first clue first, then the puzzle, then the keyboard, and so forth.)

This is a pretty good show that should've lasted longer than 2 seasons. There is one thing I would change in the bonus round. If you win the first bonus round, you win $10,000 guaranteed. (instead of $5,000 OR giving it up for another game) If you win twice, you get $25,000. (As opposed to $10000 OR going for the mill). And of course, we all know the magic $ number if three in a row. And if you miss on one of the rounds, the couple would not return the next show but do keep either $10k (1 win) or $35k (2 wins) plus their other winnings in the main game.
